![]() The stuttering persisted even in dx9 but to a lesser extent but I now sometimes get crashes when things are really busy in the game. Was I playing on dx9 the whole time even tho it said dx11? Searching how to resolve the issue I saw people recommending changing to dx9 which I did and the game looked exactly how it was before I updated my bios and gpu driver while on dx11. The game appeared different when I ran it after, UI and font was smaller, graphics looked a bit crispier but it ran with more stuttering. By updating my driver through geforce experience, I believe it used its own settings in optimizing the game and made it run worse. Ever since I updated my bios and GPU, things have gotten worse. I updated my BIOS and new GPU driver (through GeForce Experience). ![]() Thing is, my dx11 looked like dx9 (more on how I found out later).įew weeks ago I noticed minor stuttering in game when raiding and such so I thought I should update my drivers. ![]() I bought a new Laptop some few months ago and have been playing FF XIV on dx11 without issues.
